400 Gb/s physical random number generation based on deformed square self-chaotic lasers

چکیده
A circular-sided square microcavity laser etched a central hole has achieved chaos operation with bandwidth of 20.8 GHz without external optical feedback or injection, in which the intensity probability distribution chaotic signal two-peak pattern was observed. Based on self-chaotic microlaser, physical random numbers at 400 Gb/s were generated by extracting four least significant bits other complex post-processing methods. The solitary and minimal have predicted simpler low-cost on-chip number generator future.
